I specialise in teaching yoga and meditation sessions one-to-one and to small groups in the comfort of your home. My approach is gentle and intuitive, as I respond to where you are in the moment—drawing upon a variety of yoga practices. I teach private yoga for beginners or advanced practitioners.

A regular yoga and/or meditation practice can be powerfully transformational. In my sessions, you do not need to adapt yourself to the yoga, but rather, the yoga is tailored to fit you. I will help you find your own way of doing yoga, enabling you to cultivate a home practice to eventually do on your own, if you wish.

Your one-to-one yoga and/or meditation session may include the following:

Private yoga sessions with me typically last 60 minutes, however, I am flexible if you would prefer a longer or shorter practice. I offer a variety of yoga packages, so please get in touch for a full list of my prices.

  • Yin Yoga, focusing on mobility, flexibility, health and Traditional Chinese Medicine

  • Restorative Yoga to alleviate stress, fatigue and to facilitate recovery from an illness

  • One-to-one yoga sessions for all levels, including prenatal

  • Mindfulness meditation, Yoga Nidra and stress management techniques

  • Breathing exercises (Pranayama), especially for anxiety and sleeping difficulties

  • Postures taught in English, rather than complicated Sanskrit names

  • I supply the necessary props—such as bolsters and blocks—and music to complement your yoga session

  • I can also bring you an environmentally friendly Manduka yoga mat to use, if you need me to

12-SESSION PROGRAMME

The most beneficial and economical option is an initial 12-session programme. We’ll meet for an hour once a week for 12 weeks, or twice a week for 6 weeks.

I’ll take you from not moving at all—if that is your current state—to integrating yoga into your life so that you have the tools and confidence to practise on your own.

We’ll focus on your needs, challenges and goals and help you get effective results based on your current condition and your schedule. These could include targeting a specific area such shoulders, neck, back, hips, hamstrings, or addressing issues such as stress, anxiety, difficulty sleeping, health and wellbeing.

What You Will Learn:

How to increase flexibility and gain an ease and energy that will carry you through and support your lifestyle.

How to channel your energy towards a place where you can create and value stillness within yourself.

How to create openness within the body and move past places where you might have been stuck.

How to use breathing and short meditation techniques that will enhance your ability to relax, shift your focus and gain clarity.

That the perfect pose is not the goal, but the process and the journey have the most powerful effect on your improvement, attitude and wellbeing.
