If you are a bride (anyone can be a bride, no matter your gender identity or orientation) who enjoys a healthy and heart-warming gathering with your friends over an all-nighter, you have come to the right place.
I specialise in private pre-wedding yoga and mindfulness sessions in the Perth metro area, intended to down regulate your nervous system and leave you feeling blissfully relaxed. When organising a wedding, time and energy are invested in finding the venue, dress, flowers, invitations and more, but investing in your emotional and inner wellbeing is also crucial to fully enjoying your special day with your number one human.
I come to you, and bring everything you need, from Manduka yoga mats to freshly laundered organic cotton blankets; you simply provide the space. Sessions are kept cosy and intimate with a maximum limit of ten people. (Space/number restrictions now also apply due to Covid-19.)
You don’t need any yoga experience to be a Yoga Bride, as my sessions are adaptive, inclusive and can accommodate anyone from the advanced yogi to the absolute beginner. This means both your grandmother and yogini sister can share this lovely time with you.
You do not have to be the bride to organise Yoga Bride sessions. Often, it’s a friend of the bride who organises everything as a delightful surprise.
What will your private pre-wedding yoga session/s include? Depending on your needs, it will include some or all of the below:
Private yoga sessions with me typically last 60 minutes, however, I am flexible if you want a longer or shorter practice.
Yin or Restorative Yoga that anyone can do, as all postures may be adapted to suit any body and condition. Please let me know in advance if anyone is pregnant.
Mindfulness practices.
Yoga Nidra (upon request).
Pranayama (breathing exercises), especially for anxiety, stress and sleeping difficulties.
I supply the necessary props, such as mats, bolsters and blocks.
Soothing music to complement your yoga session.
I offer optional essential oils for relaxation.
Postures taught in English, rather than complicated Sanskrit names.
